Where to Stay at Olympic National Park

First, choose where you'd like to stay.  Port Angeles is on the northeast side of the park near Hurricane Ridge.  Forks is in the central area on the western side, and Lake Quinault is on the southwest side.

Day 1 at Olympic

Spend the morning of day 1 at Hurricane Ridge at the north eastern side of the park.  While the lodge/center at the top burned down a couple years ago, the area is still open for views, exploring, and hiking.

Day 2 at Olympic

Start day 2 by driving down Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd to this popular waterfall hike

Drive down to Hoh Rainforest for this easy loop through the mossy trees! Note: check ahead as Upper Hoh Rd recently closed due to being washed out.

Head to Ruby beach, which is an easy walk down from the parking lot.  Enjoy the rocky beach and waves crashing on the stacks in the water.

Take a beautiful hike through the Quinault Rainforest.  This is a great alternative as well if the road to Hoh is closed/washed out.
