Every cheap organizer I bought before would slide across the trunk the second I hit the brakes. These ones grip the carpet and don't fold in on themselves when you load them up.

My sedan has a slick plastic trunk liner that turns every bag into a hockey puck. A good cargo mat underneath fixed what three organizers couldn't.

Flimsy plastic bags are half the problem — they tip over the instant you close the trunk. Bags that hold their shape changed everything for me.

Sometimes you just need to keep Section A away from Section B. A cargo net saved my laptop from a rogue cantaloupe once and I've never driven without one since.

Loose cans, bottles, and jars were my biggest headache. They'd roll under the organizer and I wouldn't find them until they started smelling.

I live twenty-five minutes from the nearest grocery store. In July, that's long enough for ice cream to become a milkshake if you don't plan ahead.

Organizers handle normal loads, but when I'm hauling cases of water or big boxes, I need something to physically strap things down. Learned that after a case of sparkling water exploded.

A gallon of milk leaked in my trunk two years ago and I could still smell it six months later. Now I treat trunk protection like insurance — boring but absolutely necessary.

Half my trunk problem was that I was storing stuff there that should've been in the backseat. Moving everyday items to a seat organizer freed up real grocery space.

Sometimes I only have three bags and don't need a whole organizer — just something to stop them from tipping. These little hooks and holders solved the small-load problem.

Getting groceries from the car to the kitchen was its own battle — especially up stairs or across a parking garage. A folding cart cut my trips from four to one.

My trunk light burned out two years ago and I never replaced it. I was unloading groceries in the dark like some kind of raccoon until I stuck a motion-sensor light in there.
