Step 1: Micellar Water (makeup remover)
Micellar water cleanses better than wipes and takes into consideration your acne prone skin compared to cleansing oils. You also need cotton pads (affordable and high quality ones I’ve found)
My #1 recommended micellar water
- doesn’t irritate skin
- doesn’t burn eyes
- a bottle lasts me 3 months of almost everyday use
Low pH Niacinamide Micellar Cleansing Water
- Gently removes impurities like sunscreen, so it’s useful even if you’re not wearing makeup
mixsoon Centella Cleansing Water 300ml
Pricier, but works well for sensitive skin
Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive
- More affordable compared to the Korean Micellar water that I listed
- works well and has a bottle for those who wear waterproof makeup
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
$0.03/pad (when I purchased)
Cliganic Premium Cotton Rounds for Face (300)
$0.02/pad (when I purchased)
SoulSation Organic Cotton Rounds, 400 Count
Step 2: Cleanser
After removing impurities, you need to wash off the excess with a cleanser
This is the most impressive cleanser I’ve used
- If you have redness, it’ll calm it down instantly
- It’s very gentle on the skin and actually helps with acne
- You’ll feel nice and clean afterwards
