Washable markers are a must. I usually get multiple packs of these (and as of this post, they are on sale for $0.50!!).
My kids love using personal dry erase boards as their scratch paper for math so these fine tip dry erase markers work great for that!
There's something about writing with a pen that makes it more fun for kiddos. These erasable pens are awesome!
Another staple for the homeschool room. Also another steal (as of this post this pack is only $0.50!!).
Of course crayons. I get bins for all of our writing tools to keep them organized. I have one for pencils, pens, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. I get multiple of each type so we rarely run out.
If you have any Sonic fans like I do, these are great. I like having headphones incase the kids are all doing any kind of work on ipads or laptops at the same time.
Headphones are great to keep around for homeschool when everyone is doing something on electronics at the same time.
Pencils are another thing I like to get multiple packs of so that we don't run out. I also buy eraser toppers because my kids break the little pink erasers off quick haha.
I keep tons of these.

An electric pencil sharpener is a must have. Makes it so quick and easy.
I like to keep binders around for certain things like journals, keeping science or history projects in order, etc.
I have had trouble finding a science curriculum we've loved. We're giving this one a shot to see how we like it. My oldest son has recently started falling in love with animals so we're starting with Zoology.
This is SUCH a great and FREE resource for anyone who homeschools. My oldest has done the 5th grade level math and is now into the 6th grade math course. He loves it.
If you're local to Houston, I highly recommend getting a membership to the museum. There are SO many learning opportunities here!
