Central Park
Beautiful, lesser known park in NYC, but just as beautiful as Central and lots and lots of grassy areas to have picnics, play games , etc
Prospect Park
This is probably one of the most popular farmers markets, but there are tons around the city. I like this one because it has lots off organic and farm to table tents.
Union Square Greenmarket
A really nice beach that makes you feel like you're not in NYC. BUT it is a TOPLESS beach so please be aware if you want to bring your children. Usually the topless part is at the very far end.
Jacob Riis Park - Gateway National Recreation Area (U.S. ...
Really beautiful botanical garden, esp in the spring when the cherry blossoms bloom.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Delicious food with fresh ingredients, on the pricier side but well worth the taste

This was one of the first places I had Thai food in NY and I remember loving the fried rice and Thai Iced Tea
Spice Thai
Some of the best pizza you will have, it's a little pricey, but the atmosphere is great, the staff are really nice and the food is bomb dot com
Saraghina Pizzeria
I had the shrimp pasta rasta and I am telling you, if I could eat that everyday, I would. You HAVE to try this restaurant. Amazing food selections.

Very lovely park with nice trails and natural scenery.
Highland Park Highlights - Ridgewood Reservoir
I have not yet gone here but Ive been told by the native Staten Islanders that its a very pretty botanical garden.
Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden - Staten Island
I feel like a lot of people know about this but it’s honestly one of the most beautiful walkways. You’re surrounded by plants and can checkout some awesome art sculptures and pieces; plus cool architectural buildings. It’s so NY.
