Couponing has saved me hundreds of dollars. I picke up on this hobby a few years ago. It has taken failure, and patience to get it right, but it is so rewarding, and actually so fun! It is very rare that I pay full price for items. I always shop at cheaper retail stores, I look for sales, and I buy items that are needed and I stock up, even if I don't need them at the time. I often MAKE money by shopping.
