Movement must-haves
These are the only shoes I can walk in without immediately regretting it. The wide toe box, solid support, and cloud-like feel make my feet feel lighter even when I’m carrying a full-grown watermelon.
ALTRA Women's FWD VIA Walking Shoe
I sit on this more than I sit on my couch. It’s great for stretching, bouncing through back pain, or doing those “productive” hip circles you see on IG. Also doubles as my work chair.
Trideer Pregnancy Ball
So many prenatal workouts are either boring or exhausting, this one is just right. It’s 30 minutes, feels doable, and leaves me feeling energized, not wiped.
YouTube Prenatal Workout I Actually Finish
You can choose your trimester + intensity level. This app is my go-to when I want to move my body but don’t want to think too hard. Great for hips and breath work.
Prenatal Yoga App
Getting outside is so much easier with a good playlist or podcast. I have a few “walk only” playlists that give me something to look forward to, even on slow days.
AirPods + Vibey Playlist = Walking Motivation
Gear that supports
I don’t realize how much pressure I’m carrying until I put this on. It supports the bump, helps with lower back pain, and makes walking feel lighter and more doable.
Momcozy Pregnancy Belly Band
These help keep my ankles and calves from puffing up like balloons. I wear them after walks or when I’ve been on my feet for a long time. Legit lifesavers.
Momcozy Compression Socks
Perfect for early morning or evening walks, especially when I’m overheated one minute and freezing the next. This one is also UPF50+ to protect you from the sun. I just sized up to fit over the bump!
Women's UPF50+ Lightweight Jacket
If you know, you know. I keep this in my bag on every walk, car ride, or grocery run. It’s powerful, portable, and helps me cool off instantly when pregnancy turns me into a human furnace.
Handheld Fan
Comfy movement clothing
These shorts stretch over the bump, stay in place, and don’t squeeze or roll down. I can walk, stretch, or nap in them. Absolutely a third-trimester staple.
Comfiest, Stretchy Workout Shorts
This makes me feel put together even when I’m waddling. It’s soft, breathable, and bump-friendly. Also super cute with an oversized cardigan or jacket and I’ll be wearing it postpartum too.
Stretchy Bodysuit Romper
Recovery & rituals
After movement, I spray this on my calves and feet, so helpful for nighttime cramps. A tiny ritual that makes a big difference in how my legs feel.
Magnesium Mist
After a longer walk or lots of standing, this is everything. Helps with sore hips, aching feet, and overall mental reset. One of the best “rewards” for moving my body.
Epsom Salt Baths After Long Days
I drink one of these before or after moving and always feel better. Helps with hydration, swelling, and sometimes even headaches. Bonus: they taste good, too.
Electrolyte Drink for Energy + Swelling
Not about pressure but seeing “walked today” checked off gives me a weird sense of accomplishment. It’s small, but helps me stay consistent.
