These are perfect if you have a scab or open spot! I had a scab on my areola that kept reopening with the normal pads so this was great to try and reduce scarring from the scab continuing to reopen.

Idk what it is about aquaphor but you can use it for everything! I was cleared to start using aquaphor at my 2 week post op appointment. It keeps the scarring moist for better healing.

You’re supposed to stop NSAIDs 2 weeks pre-op. Those are meds like advil, ibuprofen, etc. I’m normally an Advil girl but got a bottle of Tylenol/acetaminophen for pre and post op.

I didn’t use this specific brand but you’ll want a 100% silicone to reduce scarring. This is a more budget friendly one.

If you want to use tape instead of the silicone lotion stuff, this brand is the one I’ve used. I think you can typically start when you are 6 weeks post op. This brand is very sticky but I haven’t used other brands to see yet!
