Exciting games that captivated us in 2025! 🎖️
We’ve really enjoyed some of the games that came out this year—it’s been a blast!
I had such a blast playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A! The team really went above and beyond with this new game! The only thing I'm missing is the cooking for my Pokémon. Why did Pikachu bring a ladder to the Pokémon battle? Because it wanted to reach new heights in "electrifying" gameplay! LOL.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch Edition
It evokes that classic Mario feeling. Does anyone remember the Mario game where they jumped into the painting?
Super Mario Galaxy Plus Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Nintendo Switch
The new Assassin's Creed is giving everything. You get to switch between two unique characters, each with their own original outfits and personality. It adds a whole new layer of immersion- like two adventures in one. I'm not done yet 😂
Assassin's Creed Shadows available now for PS5, PC, Xbox X/S, Switch 2 & ...
Hollow Knight: Silksong instantly caught my eye because it just looked cute, so of course, I picked it out for my son. But once we played it… the adventures were way deeper and more exciting than I expected. Definitely a cozy-but-challenging type of ...
Hollow Knight: Silksong Map
Donkey Kong Bonanza is a great 1-2 player pick that gives a soft nod to the old-school Donkey Kong feel. It's familiar enough to feel nostalgic, but updated enough that it feels fresh and fun - perfect for families or anyone who wants that classic Ni...

My son and I are huge Pokémon fans, so you’ll definitely see a lot of Pokémon games. LOL.
Diablo III has my heart! I’m totally hooked on it—way more than the new one!
Diablo III Eternal Collection - PlayStation 4
The game was released in 2018, but it is still a great experience today!
Red Dead Redemption 2 - PlayStation 4
My son absolutely enjoys the storytelling in this game. It really captivates him!💖🧩
Detective Pikachu Returns - Nintendo Switch
Before becoming a boy mom, I was a gamer and still enjoy my Spider-Man adventures, even if I don't have the time to finish the game.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - PlayStation 4
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom battle nights are an absolute thrill! The energy gets wild, and it’s a total blast watching everyone try to take me down (spoiler alert: it rarely happens! 😂). What can I say? I love it!
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - PlayStation 4 GameStop Exclusive
Consoles/Hardware that I game on
The Gaming Consoles and Hardware I Rely On for the Ultimate Experience. Definitely that portable charger.
I have had this for a couple of years now. It’s still good, but make sure to have a battery pack.
Nintendo Switch with Joy-Con Controller (Previous Model)
The Nintendo Switch 2 Console is absolutely remarkable! The size is perfect, making it incredibly easy to take on the go. I'm genuinely blown away—it's a game-changer in every sense!
Nintendo Switch 2 Console and Mario Kart World Bundle
As your Nintendo Switch ages over time, you might notice that the battery begins to struggle significantly. This portable battery pack proves to be incredibly useful in such situations. I can’t stress that enough.
Anker PowerCore 20100 Nintendo Switch Edition
My son and I go head-to-head in epic gaming battles, so this tip is a total game-changer! 🎮✨
Atrix Joy-Con Charger for Nintendo Switch GameStop Exclusive
I will always have a soft spot for the PS4 ❤️🕹️
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro Black 1TB
It takes time getting used to the size, but once you get it, it's really fun.
Nintendo Switch Poke Ball Plus
This controller may not be the best out there, but it is one of the better options we have tried. It works well for us because my son goes through controllers very quickly, almost like they are disposable tissues. 😂
Nintendo Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition - Nintendo Switch
