The perfect jean can be elusive. You never know when luck will strike and suddenly you've found the perfect pair. Be it at the bottom of a bin at a second hand shop in the middle of nowhere or hand selected by a seasoned buyer for Net-A-Porter and the like, I swear there is no in-between. But when it finally does happens, when you find “them," you have to make them yours right then and there. While I haven't haven't tried every pair on this list, this is where I'd start if I had an unlimited budget and plenty of time to dig deep and do the work.

There is nothing I enjoy more than dinner parties with my closet friends. Candle lit, wine or cocktails flowing, maybe it's outside in someone's yard. These are the items I would use to set the scene.
