Turning 50 in October 2024, my menopause symptoms kicked me right in the guts two years after I was widowed on 26 January 2020. Now, fortunate to be in love again with a wonderful man, and coping with the symptoms, my life's priorities have changed. I am no longer keen on office politics, climbing the career ladder, or chasing a big salary. With the financially security through the passive income from my own online businesses, I am now only working on only those projects I choose to work on. My online business rewards me with the financial freedom to spend time as I want with my loved ones and to just take a break when the menopause symptoms play havoc. I started Menopause Moments and this Benable List to share my menopause experiences and coping strategies, empowering other women on this journey with the tools and access to knowledge I use myself.

Becoming a young widow/er is one of the challenging things people will go through… All sense of normality and the future you had planned together gets ripped from underneath you. You will need to learn how to love life again without your love in your life. It will be the hardest thing you will do, but it is possible, I promise.
