Making sure your little one is comfortable and warm at night (or naps) will make or break the camping trip. No one likes being up in the night or having a cranky, over tired kid.
This bed was a life saver when camping with my toddler! She loved it so she actually wanted to sleep in it. I also didn't have to worry about her rolling off it.

If you are camping by a body of water, water shoes are a must. I like these ones because my daughter gets so upset when rocks get stuck in her shoes

From tents, to chairs, to dishware
Regardless of how many people you have sleeping in your tent, get the 8 person or bigger. When you have children sleeping in your tent, it means more stuff. My husband, 3 year old daughter and I use this 9 person tent and it still feels cramped

Get your kids their own lanterns that way they don't want to use your good one and waste the batteries
