The whole trick is spraying right after you shower so buildup never gets a chance. Took me forever to commit to this habit, but once I did, my deep-cleaning days dropped from weekly to maybe once a month.

Sometimes you inherit a shower that hasn't been properly cleaned since 2019. These are what I reach for when prevention alone isn't enough and you need to strip everything back to clean tile first.

No spray works if you can't get into the grout. I ruined my back bending over with a regular sponge for years before figuring out the right brush makes a thirty-minute job take five.

Squeegeeing after every shower is the single laziest prevention method and it takes fifteen seconds. Once I mounted one right inside the shower, I actually started doing it consistently.

Nobody told me you're supposed to seal grout after cleaning it. Found out the hard way when my freshly scrubbed grout turned brown again in two weeks because it was absorbing everything like a sponge.

Half my soap scum problem turned out to be bottles sitting in puddles on the shelf and dripping down the wall. Getting everything off the floor and properly draining cut the residue buildup in half before I even sprayed anything.

Realized bar soap was the biggest soap scum culprit in my shower. Switching to liquid body wash cut the white residue on my walls by like seventy percent overnight. Felt dumb for not figuring that out sooner.

Moisture sitting on tile for hours is what lets soap residue harden into scum. Got my bathroom drying faster and suddenly my daily spray started working twice as well because nothing had time to set.

Found out my city's hard water was responsible for half the white crusty buildup I thought was soap scum. Filtering the shower water made every cleaning product I was already using work noticeably better.
