I used to think watering globes were just decorative junk. Then I left for ten days and came back to perfectly moist soil. Now I own more globes than wine glasses.

When I had more than ten pots, globes weren't cutting it anymore. I rigged up a drip system in my apartment and my roommate thought I'd lost it. Then she saw how green everything stayed.

I got tired of rigging up systems and just wanted pots that handled it themselves. These have built-in reservoirs so you fill the bottom and the plant drinks when it's thirsty. Lazy gardening at its finest.

Half my plants died because I was guessing wrong. Overwatered the succulents, underwatered the ferns. A three-dollar meter changed everything and I felt dumb for not buying one sooner.

The missing piece was automation. I had the globes, the drip lines, the fancy pots. But I still forgot to refill things. Adding a timer and a few small accessories turned my apartment into a hands-off greenhouse.
