Joshua Tree National Park
This is a hidden gem for a beautiful view of the ocean and a great place for a couples day out.

If you want to see the Japanese Cherry Blossom, go to the garden in late March through the end of April.

It is a stop along Route 66 with 2 acres of ranch that was created in 2000 by Elmer Long and has more than 200 bottle trees.

Love going here especially at night. I love looking at the sky and the sunset. Also, you may have to park and walk up so bring walking shoes.
Griffith Observatory - Southern California’s gateway to the cosmos!
I remember I stumbled upon the canals on accident and I didn’t want to leave. It’s a great detour from the boardwalk.

The only Poke spot I will eat at currently. 4 bases to choose from, 3 seafood toppings, up to 8 toppings, all kinds of sauces. They even have Icecream macaroons

Favorite hiking trails with amazing views too.
It’s a park and a trail. It’s actually one of my favorites from intermediate and advanced hiking trails. Peaceful and beautiful views and there’s an American flag at the top (you just got to find it if it’s still there).

A great hiking location and even has a beautiful view especially at the peak. It’s always good to have a buddy but peaceful alone during the early day time.

It is recommended to get tickets in advanced. If you’re a LACMA member, it is free. If you’re in LA county, it’s $23 before 3pm and free after 3pm. If you’re outside LA county, it’s $28

Exhibiting classical art from around the world. It has 2 different venues — MOCA Grand Avenue, and The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. It’s recommended to get tickets in advance. Tickets are free through timed slots and every 1st Friday.
