Ace Adventure Water Park is one of my kids’ favorite spots.
You can easily spend half the day or the whole day there — it’s fun for the whole family, and you can camp there if you want to make a trip out of it.

You can walk through and see a good mix of animals, and it’s a nice way to spend a laid-back afternoon.

The Greenbrier bunker tour is such a unique experience you don’t expect to find in WV.
Walking through the hidden underground bunker and hearing the history behind it makes it really interesting and worth doing at least once.

You ride underground with a guide and learn what it was actually like — it’s interesting and something different you won’t forget.

It’s family owned and a fun place to see a variety of animals without it feeling crowded or overwhelming.

You get amazing views while doing something a little adventurous, but it’s still beginner-friendly.

You don’t need any skill like skiing — just show up and enjoy it, which makes it great for families. If you go later in the day, the lanes are usually slicker and you’ll go faster.
