I started reading the manga as a kid hands down the biggest and most detailed world in all of anime. It’s a fight against injustice and many other social issues. It’s long but totally worth it!

Awesome story with a cool concept dealing a lot with sacrifice and relationships! only issue is a little too much fan service but otherwise good story!

Classic
Another great classic! great for casual anime fans that don’t want a long series to be tied down by. Many social issues explored in this show and they have a corgi!
Cowboy Bebop (TV Series 1998–1999)
This one holds a special place in my heart. I grew up watching this anime albeit a cheesy fighting shonen but still so good!

Short but intense
Historical fiction of viking era Europe. deals with issues of slavery, military violence, monarchy politics, pacifism. Intense anime but very attention grabbing!

Best stand alone gundamn series! has nothing to do with the main gundam story lines but is super entertaining! Fans of the Underdog!

Awesome fighting with a very cool concept. great use of historical characters. Especially recommend for history buffs

Great sports anime that has a life or death feel. The characters have an intensity about them that makes them a little crazy but fun to watch!
