From short wait times to getting a small break to be off your feet, here are my favorite rides to go on with toddlers!
This ride is usually under 15 minutes and bonus points for helping you stay cool for a few minutes! It’s such a fun ride but beware, it does break down sometimes😅
The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure
No height requirements here! As long as your kiddo doesn’t have fear of heights then this is a really cute ride.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
This ride is usually a 5-15 minute wait! And had a seating area in case you want to sit and relax with your kiddos. I love to sit next to my kiddo and share the experience with them.
Jessie's Critter Carousel
Disney Hack: you can ask for a buddy pass which helps you avoid the long 45 minutes to hour long lines! We love that this lets us enjoy the ride without waiting as long!

These are a few fun activities we love to visit while in the parks with our toddler! Bonus is most of these offer some shade and a chance to take a break 😅
You could be in here for hours! Between the animation shorts playing non-stop and the Turtle Talk show, it’s so much fun for toddlers! My child loves chasing the little projector images on the floor.
Animation Academy
Catch a fun and interactive experience of Turtle Talk with Crash while enjoying being out of the sun! We enjoyed how close the kids get to sit and how interactive it is for parents and kids.
Turtle Talk with Crush
You can spend an hour in here exploring and there are slides, tunnels, and lots of stairs for the little ones. We love petting the little stuffed animal in the front.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Catch a quick show and snack break while watching Spidey! This show goes on all day so multiple chances to catch it, my little one is always in awe when Spider-Man walks by.
The Amazing Spider-Man! | Disney California Adventure Park
Quick stop for the Bakery Tour to get your free piece of bread! It’s on the way to little mermaid so win-win for the whole family!

Catch up with the Avengers as they stroll around! And there is multiple space to sit, watch, and relax. We enjoy watching them wave down from the building.

Meet your favorite Pixar Pals at the pier! You can catch this on your way from Jessie’s Carousel as you head over to Inside Out!
Meet Pixar Pals at Pixar Pier | Disneyland Resort
Catch up with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and the whole crew! The lines do get long but it’s worth it to see the little smiles on my kiddos face.
Meet Disney Pals on Buena Vista Street - Disneyland
If you have a Cars fan with you then this is the place to be! Probably one of the best decorated areas of the park for some cute photo ops with the kiddos especially with Halloween getting closer which is our favorite time to go!

The shows at Disneyland are one of our favorite ways to spend time at the parks! Here are a few fun shows to catch, I do recommend arriving early to some of these if you’re looking to have a good view.
Such a fun and interactive show that the kids will love! They can head to the front for a closer show or sit with you.
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Show | Disneyland Resort
A short and fun show to catch around the park! We like to catch it closer to the Plaza where there’s a little more shade.
Operation: Playtime! - featuring the Green Army Patrol at Disneyland Resort
Catch a parade, also a great time for a snack break! We do recommend setting up an hour before if you’d like to sit for the experience.
Join the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade - Disneyland
If you’re there later in the night, I recommend catching this amazing show! It’s such a beautiful watch that my and my kid both enjoy to enjoy the night.
