This fall, I'll be visiting London with my mom. What do we plan to do? BOOKSTORE CRAWL. Here are all of the shops on our list. Will we see them all? Likley not…but we will try.

There are several Waterstones around, but this one is just beautiful. It is highly recommended.
Waterstones
According to the website, “an original Edwardian bookshop with long oak galleries and graceful skylights…” Imagine shopping in such a stunning location.
Daunt Books
Though not specifically ONE bookshop, readers recommend wandering around Cecil Court with it's chain of shops, many of them selling used and new books.
Cecil Court
Foyles' original location at Charing Cross has also been recommended everywhere online. They offer 200,000 different books, as well as vinyl, CDs, and movies.
Foyles
London's oldest bookshop, they state that they are booksellers to the royal households. The storefront is beautiful, of course, and the location is prime for other shopping.
Hatchards
A sight you've likely seen on Pinterest or Instagram…A Bookbarge!
Word On The Water - The London Bookbarge
Gay's The Word is a cornerstone of the LGBT community in London. They hold several events per month and curate their books.
Gay's The Word
An anarchist bookshop and publishing house located in Whitechapel. They were founded in the late 1800s.
Freedom Press Bookshop
Allegedly, Skoob's has a very large selection of used books. They are open 7 days a week, which is great for anyone with a limited time in London.
Skoob Books
I've been trying to get to the south bank book market for years and years. The variety and selection is apparently unmatched. It sounds nice to stroll and look at different booksellers.
Southbank Book Market
This was the first book shop on our list. I should note, this shop is located in Cecil Court, which is also on this list. Everyone says Goldsboro's can't be missed.
