I love all of these apps for different reasons but they all encourage learning and they are all apps that kids love!
Free Apps
These apps are completely free. Some of them may have in app purchases but for the most part are completely free!
Hands down my favorite free app. This is great for students getting ready for Kindergarten or kids in Kindergarten. It helps them practice learning the letter in their own name as well as writing it. One of my faves for Kindergarten!
This is a favorite for any kids that like oceans and ocean animals. The kids love exploring the animals!
This is a great app to learn about different types of weather as well as appropriate ways to dress with different types of weather. The kids love to make a huge storm or make it freezing cold!
This first world of this app is free and great to see if your child is going to like the game. The animals are super cute and teaches kids directional coding. They love when they get the stickers!
Need a fun way to practice writing letters or sounds? This app is amazing for that! You can even use it just to draw fun pictures! This is a fun app for all ages!
I can't say enough about this! You have to buy the kit for the iPad but they have kits for letters, coding, drawing, and more! So much fun for all kids!
This is such a fun app for storytelling. The kids can move the characters around and record their voice making different stories! So fun for igniting creativity!
This teaches kids foundational skills to drap and drop, play tic tac toe, etc. The graphics make the app super engaging and fun for kids.

Codig is such a valuable skill. Teach your child the basic skills early by downloading some of these super fun apps.
Hands down the kids favorite coding app! Kids through fourth grade will beg to play this. It is such a fun way to learning coding and there are many different worlds and levels. Kids can even make their own customized video game. An Absolute FAVE!
This first few levels of this app are free and then you can pay for more levels. My kids like doing the first couple levels as it is a fun way to teach directional coding.
If you child loves to make stories, this app is amazing! It's great for beginners as young as Kindergarten to learn coding, customize characters and even add in pictures of themselves!
This app is fun for coding. The kids enjoy getting and customizing the fuzz people as you teach them coding. This is a great way to start learning coding but also teacher more difficult concepts such as if/then sequences.
This is great for littles! A fun way to learn coding. They can code music, make cards, code superheroes, so many options in this app!
Great Apps for Letters
This app is great for learning letters. There are fun songs, the letters are interactive, they can type the letters/words, and practice writing the letters by tracing them.
The kids love this app for learning to read and write letters. If your child loves trains, this is for you!
