Outdoor Activities
One of the best zoos around! Amazing light show during holidays as well as fun characters and even Santa! Feed the stingrays and touch them or feed the animals at the petting zoo. Fun for the whole family!
Park near downtown that is fun for the family! A huge park that is part of the Scioto Mile!
This is such a beautiful sight! And the smell…so amazing!
Restaurants
Hands down some of the best food in Columbus! Hidden at Woodlands Tavern and Woodlands Backyard. You will not be disappointed! Check out the crunch wrap!
This is a tiny Italian restuarant about 15 minutes away from Columbus. I promise you will not be disapointed! The restaurant is run by the nicest family and the food is superb!
This is the real deal! The sandwiches are a cheesy perfection! Don't forget to get some italian ice for dessert! 😋
Pizza and pastries?!? This place is a hidden gem in the Columbus area. If staying in Columbus, a little bit of a drive but definitely worth it!
One of our favorite Mexican Restaurant. They have great happy hours and the food is deilcious!

Local Favorites
No matter what time of year, this is a great place to visit! Pumpkins aglow at Halloween, lights at Christmas and beautiful flowers and butterflies in the summer!
So much fun for both kids and adults! My kids love the water play area but be sure to bring an extra set of clothes. My highschool nephews even enjoy tagging along for COSI fun!
