Stop with the scissors unless you are trimming thread. For the guts of your quilt cutting use a quality rotary cutter. Just replace the blades when they get dull. Comfortable, smooth and aint' she pretty!?!

When your cutting slows down you probably need to replace your blade. Sharper the better. Keep a pack of these on hand all the time. I like to replace after each quilt project.

My fave scissors for fabric and thread. (nothing else) I keep them by my machine at all times. Snipping thread with ease or trimming fabric where needed. Get them!!

Thread comes in all brands and sizes. I find this breaks less, easy to work with and I keep fully stocked on the neutrals. Creams, black, white and grey.
