And what better way to celebrate than indulging in some mouthwatering Mexican cuisine at @mesomaya! Trust me, their dishes are bursting with flavor and offer a delightful array of unique options. You’ve got to try their Avocado Margarita—it’s a surprisingly delicious twist, and their Corn and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is pure bliss! We adore Meso Maya so much that we made a return visit this weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 22nd birthday. She’s back from college for a few days, and Meso Maya was the perfect early birthday treat. We visited their Preston location, but take note, there are several Meso Maya spots scattered across the DFW area. I highly recommend the Camarones a la Diabla, Cochinita Pivil and the Pozole Verde. Trust me, they’re absolutely phenomenal! The warm and cozy atmosphere made it even more special. We started off with a delicious smoked salmon that melts in your mouth and fabulous escargot, the best I’ve ever had and some French wine to start. The cucumber soup was also a delight. For dinner, we tried roasted duck, rack of lamb, and blackened steak, all very tasty. Now let’s talk about the desserts, raspberry and chocolate soufflé, definitely a must try. The apple tart was also amazing! Lavendou is family friendly but also great for date night. Hey, you may even get to see Chef Pascal there.
