Food
NYC is a food lover’s dream! From pizza to cookies, these are my favorite spots where I ate way too much (and loved every bite)
I still remember biting into a classic New York slice here. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the cheese was just melty enough. Honestly, it felt like the perfect pizza experience.
Joe's Pizza
I went there for their famous pastrami sandwich,it was massive and packed with flavor, and every bite was worth it.
Katz's Delicatessen
If you like cookies, this place is heaven. The cookies are massive, gooey in the middle, and slightly crisp on the outside.
Levain Bakery
1
Can’t skip this one! Their burgers are juicy, fries are crispy, and yes, the line is usually long—but it’s totally worth it. Perfect for a casual, fun NYC snack.
Crystal Cove Shake Shack
A giant paradise for Italian food lovers. I wandered around looking at all the fresh pasta, breads, and cheeses, and ended up trying a homemade pasta dish inside. So good! The place is buzzing with energy, which makes it even more fun.

So many things to see and do! These were my top picks for sightseeing, exploring, and just soaking up the city vibes.
Walking around Central Park is basically free! You can wander, have a picnic, or just people-watch. Renting a rowboat on the lake costs around $20–$25 per hour, which is super fun.

Which is Best: Empire State Building vs. The Top of the Rock
Tickets are around $25, and if you’re into art, it’s a must-see. I loved wandering through all the exhibits and getting lost in the creativity.
The Museum of Modern Art
This elevated park is free! Walking along it gives you a unique perspective of the city and some lovely gardens and public art installations.
The High Line
The memorial is free to visit, but the museum tickets are about $26 for adults. It’s a very moving experience.

Exploring Greenwich Village and SoHo in NYC
Obviously super busy, but it’s wild to see all the lights and energy in person. I went at night, and it felt like the heart of the city was just buzzing around me. Totally worth a quick stop!
Times Square
This indoor market is packed with food stalls, tiny shops, and cool artisanal finds. I grabbed some snacks here and just loved the vibe so lively and fun.
Chelsea Market
If you’re up for a bit of adventure, take the subway down to Coney Island. The boardwalk, rides, and classic hot dogs made me feel like a kid again. It’s a super fun summer spot.
Coney Island USA
Wandering these neighborhoods was like a mini world tour. I had amazing Italian pastries in Little Italy and authentic dumplings in Chinatown—so many flavors to explore!
