Creating this art room has truly transformed our home. As a stay‑at‑home mom and full‑time student, I needed a space where my kids could explore, create, and make a mess without the mess taking over the entire house. I wanted a room that encouraged freedom, imagination, and hands‑on learning, but still felt organized and easy to maintain. With a few budget‑friendly IKEA essentials, this vision came together beautifully. It’s simple, functional, and designed for real‑life mom chaos. This little art room has become one of our favorite corners of the house. A place where creativity is encouraged, messes are allowed, and cleanup doesn’t feel overwhelming. If you’re a busy mom looking for a game‑changing project that won’t break the bank, building a small, intentional art space like this is the perfect place to start!
