Florence was one of my favorite cities in Italy. It's beautiful, especially in the Tuscany region.

Places to Go
Enjoy Florence to its fullest, but also make sure to do a few day trips out to the Tuscany countryside and Cinque Terre.
I came here almost every day for a panorama view of Florence. Come during the day, and also at sunset. You won't forget the views.

Hang around this square where the Duomo is. Grab a gelato next door and marvel at the view.

Bought a leather card holder here at the school of leather, all made by artisans of the school!
Pretty cool experience walking through the Gucci museum. Lots of different exhibits showing fashion from past seasons.
Nice area to walk along the waterfront
So many shops in this area. A lot of jewelry, but you'll also find pastry & gelato shops and some souvenir shops.
A nice well-kept garden for walking around
A large marketplace to grab food, groceries & souvenirs. There's an outdoor market but also one indoors too.
This is a beautiful perfume shop to walk through.
If you're looking to do some luxury shopping, this is the street to go.
A beautiful palace with a huge art collection inside. Worth a visit if you love looking at art.
If you're a fan of art and Michelangelo, this is the place to go to find his sculptures.

Day Trips
Both of these take the whole day. The guides are a lot of fun, you'll get amazing views, and leave with memories.

Where to Eat
When in Florence, eat Florentine steak, schiacciata, cantuccini, papardelle al cinghiale, biscotti, and so much more.

The famous schiacciata shop. The line goes by fast, and the sandwich is huge. People here were also great.
