My personal favorite tasty options all over the city. There's sure to be something for everyone on this list of delicious international foods.

Best burgers at this downtown spot. Remember a single here is really a double, and a double is really a triple. You gotta add bacon on that cheeseburger and an egg too. The garlic aioli on the fries is the bomb, yes please!
Au Cheval
Best Aguachile in the city. We love to start with some fresh oyster shooters or some aguachile. Then of course you cannot skip the camarones a la diabla, and the cockteles (vuelve a la vida) is a fantastic choice. BYOB, so bring your brews of choice.
El Cangrejo seafood restaurant
Classic Chicago pub pizza. Get the Bull and Bear, which is an Italian beef and hot giardinera pizza. Something about baking it all together makes the best dining experience. Taste buds rejoice.
Vito & Nick's Pizzeria
Chitown doggies, bring cash!! Although recently they did start taking cards as well. Get the double dog for sure and one of the mini tamales. Wash it all down with a frosty pop of choice. IYKYK
Gene & Jude's
1
Old school dive bar in the heart of the city with prices you most likely won't find anywhere else. Get a couple of Chicago handshakes or some tall boy PBRs and relax.
Richard's Bar
Freshness seafood heaven. They have a great value lunch as well which comes with a side dish and appetizer. White tuna handroll is a must.
Sushi-san
Comfort Dimsum yum! The soup dumplings are homemade and so comforting especially during a Chicago winter. And lunch menu is also a bargain and available on weekends as well.
Dolo Restaurant and Bar
Happy hour and views! Cindy's never disappoints, get there early so you can secure a table with the great view of the lake. Drinks are strong and tasty so tread lightly.
Cindy's Rooftop
Mediterranean deliciousness. The food is so fresh, get the hummus and cheese plate to start with the in house bakes pitas. The grilled kabobs are also a must, and the mint tea.
Al Bahaar
Great options for Chinese and Vietnamese specialties. Try the garlic beef in hot clay pot, outstanding!
Joy Yee
Our favorite place for wine tastings and appetizers. They have a full menu as well with finely curated cocktails and digestifs
Cooper's Hawk: An upscale casual restaurant
You cannot go wrong with this Chicago Classic Italian staple. Anything of this menu is sublime. Homemade pastas and a martini are a must.

This is the spot if you're craving tamales. Get the smoky adobo chicken served piping hot. And don't skimp on the desert tamales! There's strawberry flavored with dulce de leche! Delicious
