Living in Central Oregon I have noticed the tourists come from all over to visit the beautiful scenery. Here I’ll give so of my favorite places and shopping so you don’t have to try to find places that turn out to be duds.

Always has something going on here for the family to enjoy, plus a wide selection of food. From the Sisters Meat House connected to the building, indoor sushi, or food carts - they have it all.
Blacksmith Public House
“You can’t beat our meat” and they’re not lying.
Sisters Meat and Smokehouse - Redmond
Trust me when I say if you like a western style decor, this place has the top quality products that you NEED.

While they currently are in transition phase and moving locations - this has been the most affordable and easy play place for my toddler. Currently she still has weekly activities going on and is so nice to get your little one interacting with others...

A very family friendly rodeo with tons of shopping booths inside. Being indoors with plenty of seating ranks this rodeo higher on my list.
High Desert Stampede
Most thrifting and antique stores cost a fortune. I am all about a bargain while finding exactly what I want. Most items in my home have came from thrifting and this is one of my favorite places to do it.
Redmond Antique Mall
This is a hotspot for most people and you’ll understand why when you go there 🤤

Prineville
The cutest, retro vibe restaurant right in town. They also conveniently have a drive through!
Tastee Treet
Affordable and beautiful. They have a great indoor dining area if anyone is not interested in golfing, but wanting to spend time there

A small town rodeo that’s always packed with people. Family friendly and plenty of shopping booths inside
Crooked River Roundup-Rodeo
Sisters
When are they not winning awards for having the biggest little outdoor rodeo? A must see, if you can even get tickets early enough.
