I used to go here once a week. This is the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever tried. All of their entrees are great. Be sure to go to the Valley View location, their location on Electric Road has different food and it doesn’t taste as good.
Red Palace - Roanoke
This is the best Chinese takeout restaurant I’ve ever tried. Their chicken and broccoli, general Taos chicken, dumplings, and cheese wontons taste like the typical traditional entrees you know and love that are great quality.
China Wok
This place is like a different version of Panera bread. They serve paninis and cold sandwiches. Their tomato cheddar soup is incredible! Their Margherita panini is also amazing!

This is my all time favorite store in Downtown Roanoke. They have a wide variety of chocolates, greeting cards, and unique gifts. They are always rotating and adding knew products for the different holidays and seasons.

Mast General Store Roanoke
They have a bunch of great hiking trails. But if you don’t want to hike and just want a pretty view of the mountains than they have a bunch of different overlooks you can drive and park at. The views are incredible.

This place is great to visit in the spring and summer. It’s beautiful and refreshing. The wildflower garden is in the same area as the mountain overlook.
