The Rose is my top recommendation. It is in a beautifully restored old building. You can go to the counter to order and sit in the open tables on the left or see a hostess for table service. Theh also have a fabulous patio.

Publik has four locations around Salt Lake. My favorite is the small shop in the Avenues. Visit any location for great espresso. All of their pastries are great, but their seasonal chocolate chip pumpkin loaf is unreal.

There are two Blue Copper locations. Visit the 900 south location and walk around the other local businesses. Their cold brew is my favorite in town!

A beautiful, minimal coffee shop near downtown. Their espresso drinks are particularly good and they serve pastries from some esteemed local bakers.
Holy Water
A newcomer to the Salt Lake coffee scene in a beautifully designed building. Everything here is fantastic. Make sure to try a pastry from famed local bakery, Tomodachi Bakeshop.
Loki Coffee - Salt Lake, Utah
This one is a bit further south, but a great spot if you’re in that part of the valley. Great for meetings or working. They have a great food menu to go with their coffee and tea drinks.

Charming neighborhood spot in the Avenues. It is a cafe by day and a white-tablecloth restaurant by night. Their coffee is straightforward with free refills. Grab a muffin or one of their fantastic desserts. It’s perfect for a hang with a friend.

Tiny coffee shop in the heart of downtown. Their vanilla latte is excellent. There is rarely seating available, so take your drink to go!
