We all need a little screen time now and then. These are the shows I let my toddler watch. These shows are fairly slow and calm. They do not have bright flashing colors or quick scene changes. I don’t mind watching these shows with my toddler!

A sweet and quiet show about a kid and his friend, Trash Truck. It doesn’t get too loud or have bright flashing colors. My toddler loves it.

If your kid is a fan of the Llama Llama books, they will love the show. This reminds me of the shows we watched as kids. It’s fairly calm and nothing too distressing happens.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (TV Series 2015–2021)
Honestly, I don’t love this book. The show, however, is very cute. The colors are lovely.
Guess How Much I Love You
A smart and sweet show with great messaging. This is one I will happily watch alongside my toddler.

Yet another lovely book to TV adaptation. The illustrations are reminiscent of the original book. Clifford and Emily Elizabeth are fun to watch together!
Clifford the Big Red Dog (TV Series 2000–2003)
This Peanuts series has all the charm and humor of the original. One of my favorites to watch with my toddler.
The Snoopy Show (TV Series 2021–2023)
This show is based on the darling classic of the same name. Beautiful colors and a slow pace make this one a favorite in my house.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
Another throwback to our childhood. Arthur is as fun to watch as ever. Older kids will love this one too.

Little Bear
Beloved children’s book duo, Jon Klassen and Mac Barnett bring their shapes to life in this show. This one is funny and a bit weird. It’s still slow paced and good for toddlers, but the adults in the house will enjoy it too.

This show is slow paced and lovely. The language is slow and easy for kids to understand. Read the books and watch the show!

The beloved Oliver Jeffers book is brought to life in this short movie. This one will enthrall your toddler and make you cry. This is a must watch.

All of the Studio Ghibli movies are lovely, but this one is especially nice to watch with littles.
