Parks and Recreation Areas
Scenic park with spacious trails. Outdoor Amphitheater, skate park, dog park, golf course and sports fields.
Pretty park by the lake. Features a jogging/biking trail, picnic areas, playgrounds, athletic fields and courts.
Many fresh foods, baked goods, candy, meats, pretzels, fruits, veggies, etc. to choose from. You name it, they have it.
Great historical park. Was part of the Harbor Defenses of the Delaware following the Civil War. Right on the Delaware River. Plenty of trails in nature and picnic areas.
Nice little trails with different scenery. Used to camp here as a child.
Nice, clean family beach. Wide, fun boardwalk. They do require beach tags during the season.
Fountains, meticulous gardens, beautiful architecture, wonderful walking trails......flowers, plants, holiday lights, wine, etc. Enjoyed by over a million guests yearly.

Restaurants
This little gem is in the center of Penns Grove, NJ. Family-owned restaurant with fine dining and a wonderful atmosphere. They usually have some great special going on that usually entails tons of delicious authentic Italian food, wine, desserts, etc...
This is a wonderful brick-walled bar and eatery. Serves coal-fired pizza, home pasta, salmon, and other delicious Italian meals. The charred bread with ricotta cheese and balsamic vinegar is a must, it's like a dessert! Yum!

Nice little spot to watch the game, occasional live music and all around nice vibe. Great food, good drinks, good time.
