I will typically sketch/draw the PaperDoll on marker paper in pencil. And then scan into Photoshop where I clean her up and prep on a stand that I created in Adobe Illustrator before printing on mixed media paper.

I love Washi tape! I use it to secure my PaperDoll in place while rendering as well as for my Fashionary templates while sketching.

A must when I’m sketching my PaperDolls. It’s so helpful and useful when sketching my designs or PaperDolls using the Fashionary templates. The adjustable brightness is great and it comes in a variety of sizes. I have the 12”x17”.

I use this printer and scanner to first scan my sketches/illustrations of my PaperDolls and then after cleaning them up in Photoshop and prepping on stands in Adobe Illustrator I print on mixed media paper.

For the finer details and small areas of the PaperDoll I use these smaller scissors. They work great for the stand and leg of the PaperDoll.
