My sushi standards are high and this spot clears them every time.

My go-to sushi spot in VB. Spotless, great service, staff remembers regulars. What I order: Mt. Trashmore Roll, soft shell crab, Dancing Eel Roll, baked mussels. Save room for the crème brûlée.

One of the only VB spots still doing real dim sum carts on weekends. What I order: Peking duck when I'm feeling fancy, otherwise shumai and BBQ pork buns off the carts.

My cold-day soup spot. Rich broth, huge portions, the most consistent pho in VB. What I order: #4 pho brisket with flat rice noodles.

Quiet little pho spot on Pleasant Valley Rd with a 4.8-star rating. The broth has real depth and the portions don't play around.
