Prepping for a crisis
Prepping for a crisis
This is all the things I recommend for you to prep in case of a crisis. Hopefully, we'll never need it for this purpose but only for fun camping trips and adventure. Anyhow, here it goes…
Very essentiel to have at hand in case of a nationwide crisis. This way you can always tune in on what the authorities have to say.
Emergency Radio Solar Powerbank
A solar powerbank with multiple panels is a MUST for your prepping for crisis. With this you can charge your devices with just a bit of sunlight. With multiple panels it allows much more sunlight to be absorbed compared to other one-panel powerbanks.
Sandberg Solar 6-panel powerbank 20000mAh
This Trangia set is so easy to use. It's reliable and you can make the basic things on this. You can make your morning coffee and cook your dinner among other things.
Trangia Storm Kitchen Set
This ethanol burner is small and very portable. It's universal and can be used with many different sizes of pots and pans.
Ethanol Burner
An essential tool, not only in the wilderness, but for crisis too! This ferrocerium rod fire starter can be used in all types of weather humid and dry and it doesn't require power or gas to work like lighters do.
Outdoor Fire Starter Survival Set of 2
Fatwood has a high content of resin which makes it favorable to use for campfires. It burns long and strong. Stack up on a few of these. Btw. 1-2 cm of this wood is enough to start a campfire!
Resin Fatwood For Campfire
All you need to know for emergencies is right here in this book. It's easy to read and understand too. A great "pocket book" (it's a normal size book but great to have with you where ever you are).
How to Stay Alive: Ultimate Survival Guide
Always have a first aid kit at hand. This is a great size and all the essential things are in here.
First Aid Kit 90 Pieces Emergency Bag
A good and solid water container. 20l is a good size for lots of water but still not too heavy to lift. The container keeps the water fresh and drinkable for up to a year! (I haven't tested it longer than that).
Spetebo Plastic Water Canister with Tap 20 L
A surprisingly well built wire saw. I never saw (pun intended) it coming but this is actually really practical and great. It's pocket size and works really well. It takes a bit of time and effort to cut through a log but it is very much possible.
Mini Stainless Steel Wire Saw
A good and powerful torch is important. This flashlight can be charged with a simple micro-USB cable which makes it incredible since you can charge it from your solar powerbank. The battery holds power a long time plus it's bright.
