Spent four months rotating through knee sleeves during squat sessions. Most slid down by rep three. These stayed put and actually reduced the grinding feeling enough that I stopped fearing the squat rack.

Some days my knees needed more than just compression. After a rough hiking trip where my left knee swelled up, I started keeping a proper brace in rotation for heavier sessions.

Realized my knee pain was partly because I was walking into the gym cold and loading 225 immediately. These warmup tools added five minutes to my routine but cut my pain by about 70 percent.

Post-workout recovery was the missing piece for me. Used to just shower and sit on the couch. Started icing and compressing after sessions and the morning stiffness that made stairs brutal finally went away.

Not a magic pill situation, but after adding a few targeted supplements my joints started feeling less crunchy during warmups. Took about six weeks to notice a real difference, so patience matters here.

Realized my flat running shoes were part of the problem. The angle of my foot during squats was forcing my knees forward past my toes. Switching footwear and adding a couple accessories fixed mechanics I didn't know were broken.
