Essentials for Cruising with Babies & Toddlers

Pool
Since non-potty trained babies are not allowed in the pool, we wanted to figure out an alternative that still allowed my son to have fun. These items did not disappoint.
A majority of cruises do not allow babies in the pool if they are not potty trained. I took my son on a cruise at 9 months and brought this. We filled it with water and he was able to use it on the pool deck. He had a blast!
My son used these as his "pool toys". He enjoyed playing with them and holding them.
Don't forget the swim diapers! Your kiddo may not be able to go into the main pool, but some still have splash pads and you can use the laundry basket back. They also can be used in port.
Cleaning Bottles
How I was going to clean bottles was one of my biggest concerns when we booked our cruise. These are items that helped.
This was amazing to have to clean my son's bottles. It collapsed down small and helped me keep the dirty bottles in one spot.
One of my biggest concerns about cruising was being able to sterilize my son's bottles. I had no idea that these existed, but they were so nice to have.
This was SO nice to have. I absolutely love this drying rack. It folded down small and we have already used it on other trips.
Toys/Entertainment
An entertained baby makes everyone happy. These items were well suited for a cruise.
We attached these to his stroller and put toys/bottles on the other end. It was nice to not have to worry about him losing his toys.
These spinning toys were nice because they suctioned to tons of different things on the ship.
My son was a little too young for these when we went, but if we took him again I would for sure take these since the walls are magnetic (at least on Royal Caribbean).
Organization
It was important to us that we stayed organized during the trip. These are some items that helped.
These hooks were helpful in the room. We were able to hang up some of our son's items as well as some of ours.
We used this to organize my sons clothes and items. We folded up different outfits so they were easy to grab. We used other sections to hold diapers and nighttime essentials.
Stroller & Transportation
Cruise ships can be hard to navigate, especially with a big stroller. We opted to get a small one. It has gotten plenty of use since the cruise as well.
This stroller was nice to have on the ship because it was a lot smaller than our normal one.
This is another version of the stroller that we used on the ship.
This thing is an absolute life saver. My son loves to be held and this is perfect. It's easy to use when your constantly putting your baby down and picking them back up.
This attached to the Tushbaby and turns it into a carrier. I love how versatile this is! It makes getting around the ship a breeze.
Eating
Food on a cruise was great, it allowed m my son to try a ton of new things.
We originally were going to use disposable bibs, but already had these! They were easy to wash off in the sink.
We did end up returning these and not brining them, but I do love the concept and think that they would work well on a ship.
We brought a pack of these. We loved how cheap they were. Due to this, we weren't afraid of losing them or leaving them behind if we weren't able to transport them.
Diapers
No one wants a stinky diaper on a cruise ship. These are items that helped.
We threw this on the diaper bag. It helped keep our room smelling fresh.
Health/Bath
The collapsible laundry basket can also be used as a bathtub depending on the size of the shower you have.
I love this brand and could not resist how adorable the travel size items are.
