"Big Items"
These are some of my must have items that you need or should have on hand before baby comes. These are the big items like strollers and car seats.
This stroller is wonderful for two kids. Definitely a dupe for some more expensive strollers.
This car seat is my favorite one that Target sells that is flame retardant free. I feel like it is a total dupe for the Nuna Rava. We have it in my husband's car and love it.
I absolutely love the colors of this play mat. I also enjoy the fact that it can grow with my son.
This crib is absolutly gorgeous! I love the fact that it is convertible so it can grow with my child.
This changing table is awesome because there is so much storage under it. I love the fact that it is open, so you don't have to keep opening drawers to find things.
Play Time
You are going to spend a lot of your time questioning, "What are we going to do today?". These are items that will help answer that question.
Did you know that Target sells Lovevery products?! I sure wish I knew when I was making my registry.
This is a wonderful teether for your baby.
This walker is one item I wish I had on my registry. It comes in handy when they get a little bit older.
One things mamas tend to focus on is making their registries with a newborn in mind. That is amazing, but let me tell you, it is SO nice to have items ready for when they are older. My son has been playing with his walker since he could sit up.
THIS play mat was the holy grail for months in my household. I originally was one of those moms who said I would try to stick to neutrals, but this play mat threw that thought out of the window. My baby loved this thing and still plays with the piano...
This book is adorable. I loved reading it to my son. It is super versatile because you can tell your own story or go through and name what is on the different pages.
Toys like this are amazing for the first few months. It helps baby with eye tracking, grip and grabbing.
Milk
This was hands down my favorite portable breast pump. (If you plan on going the pumping route)
I love these bottles because they have a silicone base as opposed to plastic!
Earth Mama is an overall amazing brand. This stuff was a life saver when I first started BF my son.
These were the storage bags that I used with my son. I never had any issues with leaking and I loved the double seals.
Baby Health/Diapers
These are essential items. They may not be fun, but they are a necessity.
These are so handy! I love to put them in my son's room, our living room and in his diaper bag.
These diapers definitely are luxurious. They are my son's favorite kind.
These wipes are wonderful! It is so helpful to get wipes at your baby shower.
This looks gross, but trust me, it works amazing and is a life saver when your baby is stuffy.
Sleep
These are items that will help YOU and your baby get more sleep.
A sound machine is a must! This one is amazing because it connects to your phone. I do not know what I would have done without my sons Hatch. It's helps him understand when it is time to go to bed.
This is the BEST baby monitor! I originally had a Wi-Fi one and was in contact fear that it was going to be hacked. This one is Wi-Fi free, the image quality is great and I have never had a problem with it disconnecting.
This is amazing because it helps to give you a piece of mind when your baby is sleeping. I know there were countless nights where I woke up to check on my son especially in the first few months.
Halo swaddles were our absolute favorite all around when we were swaddling our son. I really like how it could be used as arms out as well when my son was getting ready to transition to sleep sacks.
Bath
It's always important to have a good bath routine with you baby. I know this is one thing we incorporated in our sons night time routine.
We used this bath tub up until my son could sit up on his own in the bath. I loved the fact that it didn't hold water and it's fairly small in size.
A faucet cover is a must have item! Now that my son is older, this really prevents him from hitting his head on the faucet when he is playing in the bath. I love the fact that we have had it from the start. I feel like he tries to play with it less b...
These toys say that they are for 9 months plus, but I honestly started using them right away. When my son was younger they were great for him to just hold while in the bath. Now he plays with them during bath time.
Eating
Your kiddo may not be able to start solids/purées until they are around 6 months. These are still important items to have so that you don't have to worry about them when the time comes.
A high chair is a good choice for your registry even though you won't need it right away. I personally have the Graco one and love all of the different configurations.
Silicone bibs are SO much easier to clean compared to cloth.
I wouldn't necessarily put these on your registry, but keep these in mind when your baby starts purées. Start thinking now about how you want to introduce food when the time comes. Do your research.
Baby Carriers
This thing is a life saver. I use it while doing chores around the house, while walking my dog, during quick trips to the grocery store and during so many other instances.
I have tried a few other carriers and this one is hands down the best. My son is over 20 pounds and I still am able to use this without getting any back pain.
This wrap was wonderful during the first few months of my sons life. I used it around the house, on walks and when shopping. I love the fact that it is pre wrapped and the fabric is breathable.
