I survived nursing school all while getting pregnant, already having a toddler, having a baby, getting pregnant again… oh and we were also Pandemic Guinea pigs for how to do clinicals in 2020. So. I feel like if I could do it, so can you, and these are all the things that helped or things I would definitely use if I did it all over again. I passed everything on my first try, even the NCLEX. Remember to get some things to make this process FUN and you MUST find a study group and a Starbucks.

I grew up Mennonite and wanted to make sure my parenting style was completely different. One with patience and understanding and lots of open communication. I want all my children to understand and accept all feeling while learning how to cope with them appropriately and safely. These are all things I have used to help with that process as well as some new things I would use if I had to do it over again.

All ghosts and no spiders here! But seriously, I grew up Mennonite, so Halloween was a huge no no. Now that I have kids, and I’m no longer religious, I see the fun and innocence of it all. Nothing overly spooky, just fun, cute and cozy!

Recently my daughters entire sense of style changed. We went from all things princess and tu tus and pink to a more preppy pre teen look. Lots of blue, black, smileys and stitch! Girls got style and she’s here to help you have it too!

A variety of things that my husband has used over the years and highly recommends! He especially loves to cook for the family and he takes his hygiene seriously as well. He has done the research and these are items he uses almost daily and always re purchasing.

After moving into our home five years ago, our dining room quickly and naturally turned into the craft room. So many memories and so much creativity being made in there on the daily. I love how my wooden farm table has paint splattered on it. These are some of the things we currently have or have used in there and really enjoyed or was really useful. I highly recommend a designated craft area for your kids without worrying about things possibly getting painted on or some marker or glue. Things can always be replaced, but the memories and fun will last forever!

My kids love to be outside to begin with, regardless of the weather, but each spring I like to get them some new toys/activities to play with and all these recommendations are the things they enjoy playing with the most over the years.

I am about to begin my 5th year of gardening! I learn something new each year, but I always have a bountiful harvest that works for our family. Everyone’s garden is going to look a bit different, never try to compare, make it yours and make it fun! Gardening is all trial and error, you WILL lose plants, it happens to even the most experienced because we can’t control the environment completely. Depending on your area you will discover what thrives and what doesn’t and for some reason one year your carrots may do great and the next they struggle. With all that being said, these are all recommendations and my tips of things that I use all growing season to make my life easier, keep it fun and vibrant, and to help my plants thrive!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays to host. It is so much fun decorating the house and table with all the bunnies, florals and eggs. There’s something for every aesthetic whether you prefer more neutral tones or vibrant, rustic or chic or a little combo of all. This list should help get you started for your Easter dinner!

Instead of thinking of Easter baskets as another pile of “junk” or instead of filling it with candy, fill it with new spring/summer toys/accessories that they will actually use throughout the summer. Especially outdoor toys!

I have struggled with dry, sensitive and inflammatory skin since I was a child. I have tried many products over the years. These are all my tried and true recommendations that I personally use on the daily.

We have been going here ever since I was a baby and now we take our babies and it’s something we look forward to every single year. We prefer OCNJ over Maryland because it’s definitely more family oriented and we enjoy every second of our time their.

I feel like I am always getting rid of things, almost daily, but we still somehow have so many little things. Having 3 younger children the toys pile up, but they play with it all and I know it won’t last forever. But in the meantime I can’t stand the clutter. Everything needs a home… or in my case, a basket. My family and friends joke with me about how many baskets I have. If I counted it would probably be close to 100. I’d rather see a nice decorative basket than a pile of things. I hope this will give you some ideas for your own organization journey! It really does make a difference.

I was diagnosed with Junior Rheumatoid Arthritis at a year old, now since having children I also have degenerating disc disease and migraines. These are all the things I use to help relieve pain without steroids and strong medication, especially since I was breastfeeding.

We were blessed with a sunroom when we moved into our home and it’s currently the kids playroom. I wanted to share all the things my kids have enjoyed over the years and are currently still using on the daily. These are great to keep them occupied and get their energy out, especially when going outdoors isn’t an option. I have a 4,6 and 8 year old but they have been using some of these things from 2 years.

I loved cooking and playing house when I was little with all the dirt and mud and nature rbag I could find. So last summer we got the kids mud kitchens for outside in an empty corner of our yard. We have since accumulated many fun accessories for it. They play with it nearly every time they are outside- even in the snow! Be prepared for them to bring you lots of “tea,” “soup,” and “cake!” All the things I have listed have just been left outside and I rinse them off occasionally, but other than that everything is holding up nice.

My mom is my constant inspiration for home decor, every time I go to her house she has something new and sometimes she will just buy double of things because she knows I’m going to love it and want it too! I’m excited to share with you some favorites of things that could be used all year round!
