I love to read the rhyming books with my toddler, and this is a beautiful message with wonderful illustrations.
When I Pray for You by Matthew Paul Turner
This was a fun read. The rhymes, the ending explosion. It's easy to read with emotion, making it more entertaining for both parent and child.
Pig the Slob (Pig the Pug) - Books
Very cute story, and the pausing that's built in, is exactly what the speech experts encourage for language building.
Is Your Mama a Llama? by Guarino & Kellogg
This is a nice, short book. Perfect for when the toddler wants just one more story before bed.
The Swing by Robert Louis Stevenson, Morstad
Fantastic rhyming, and fantastic imagery. This one is really fun to read and easy to kind of act out for baby or toddler.
Bear Snores On (The Bear Books) by Wilson

Look these words aren't often the most useful at this age, but it's fun, and my toddler was oddly drawn to it too.

This one has been SOO useful in teaching my daughter some new words. She loves being able to do motions with them, and there are many words she can now sign, even though she can't say them yet.

Look, no one I spend time with regularly speaks Portuguese, but I love other languages, so we got this one as a gift, and my daughter LOVES the songs and keeps coming back to it.

Every page of this book has some kind of moving part, and my daughter has gravitated to a different page every time we've read it.

Super cute imaginative story that fits right in with that toddler berry obsession, andt he illustrations really spark the imagination.
