Join me in my exploration of the Upper Peninsula's beauty - beaches, waterfalls, rivers, and quaint towns with so much to offer!
Located in the quaint little town of Gay, this historic ruin is really a sight to see! You can (safely) explore the old ruins of the Stamp Mill and see the towering Smokestack, then take a short walk down to the sandy beach.
Copper Milling at Gay- Copper Processing and Stamp Sands
A beautiful beach, with a basketball court and a nice park to relax and enjoy a sunny day! Easily accessible and good parking, and there's even a spot to rinse off your sandy feet once you come up from the beach ⛱️

Calumet Township Waterworks Park
A quaint and welcoming bookstore with a nice range of media to browse. From comics to scifi to books about Medieval cats (my choice of purchase), I always find something I want to pick up here!
Black Ice Comics & Books

Harbor Haus Restaurant
Really tasty fish, a cool and unique atmosphere, and a great view of some historic landmarks as you look down from the ridge of the Keweenaw. Prices are a little high, so expect to spend $20 a person!
