Vampires
This is a stylish and artistic take on the life of eternal vampires. Fab lineup of actors, wardrobes and cinematic lighting and filming.
Only Lovers Left Alive
This cinematic remake of the classic film is stunning. The sound design is really amazing and well done, too.
Nosferatu
This is fab movie about a bad a** little ballerina. A story that teaches you never to underestimate those that may appear delicate.
Abigail
This one is considered a cult classic from the 70's. Lots of fab 70's era fashion and kitschy horror with the some spicy scenes.
The Velvet Vampire
Witches
This movie is one of my absolute favorites because it looks like it was filmed in the 60's but it was really filmed recently. I love the mid-century bright color palette, too.
The Love Witch
Wowza, this movie really delivers! This movie is shot really well and has high cinematic quality. I also like that it was well-written, too. Catch this one on your spooky night line-up.
Gretel & Hansel
This is the remake of Argento's classic 1977 film and it really delivers as a helluva witch film. Iconic in it's color palette and cinematic styling, the film gave a gracious nod to it's Italian roots.
Suspiria
This film reminds me a lot of the Final Destination series but with more witchyness to it.
Tarot
One of my favorites to binge watch, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is positively a must for binge watching during spooky season.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
A new season of Wednesday has arrived and the whole family is back and spookier than ever. A few seasons to binge watch on repeat.
Wednesday
Werewolves
I found this movie completely by accident and it is a comedic gem with some scary and gory bloody parts. Mostly this is very entertaining and had me laughing. Great watch for Spooky Movie Season.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow
This film was so aesthetically pleasing to the eye that I themed an entire Halloween party in it's likeness. Cinematically this film really delivers and it's a great upgrade to the classic werewolf story.
Red Riding Hood (Alternate Ending) (2011)
Demons
This one had me on the edge of my seat. It really delivers on the scare factor and some scenes are so cringe I had to look away.
Sinister (2012)
Based on the Stephen King novel, this film is part of The Shining storyline and the scene with the little baseball player boy is hard for me to watch. Terrifying.
Doctor Sleep
This one is a series so there are lots of episodes to keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat. I am counting down the days until the new season starts!
FROM
This is another really good spooky show to watch with lots of episodes to keep you entertained. There are also a lot of cinematic references for cinephiles, the writing is on-point and the production value is top-notch. Great show to watch for spooky...
Evil
There are 5 installments in this movie franchise and each one is better than the last……with the exception of the final film. The last film didn't carry the suspense that that first four did for me, anyway.
Insidious
I use to watch this show with anticipation of every episode. Some seasons are better than others and there are plenty of seasons to watch. My favorites are Asylum, Coven, and Hotel. If you watch the show, too, tell me your favorite seasons, too.
American Horror Story: Murder House
This film is the prequel to Rosemary's Baby and it is really good!
Apartment 7A
Crazed Killers
The suspense factor is dialed all the way up on this one. The bad guy is super creepy and the screenwriting is edge of your seat intense.
The Black Phone
I felt so scared for the little boys in this film. This film is scary and maybe not suited for people with kids.
Changeling
Matthew McConnaughey blew me away with this performance and had me absolutely terrified. Religous overreach , delusions, misogyny, and mental illness steer the storyline.
Frailty
Inspired by true events, this movie will have you screaming at your tv. It can be hard to watch at times but it is satisfying when they get some good licks on the bad guys. There are some follow up films in this series and they are equally haunting.
The Strangers
This movie won an Oscar and it has some really great writing in the script. Great cinematic quality, too.
Get Out
This one is an absolute gem from the 90's. Jeanine Garofolo, Joaquin Phoenix, and Vince Vaughn line out the cast. The music, the pacing and the writing make for a funny and unique move about a serial killer.
Clay Pigeons
Lots of rainy spooky ambiance here and it stars Elizabeth Montgomery of Bewitched fame.
“The Victim” (1972)
Haunted House
This is one of my favorite movies just because of how cool the house is. Seriously, this is some spooky real estate worth the watch.
The Haunting
Dark, stormy and full of spooky ambiance. This spooky cinematic masterpiece is perfect for late night scarey vibes.
The Old Dark House
This one lives rent free in my head. Highly disturbing and super creepy.
Knock At The Cabin
A remake of the original with even more rain, thunder and eerie atmospheres. This time with fab sixty's fashion and cars.
The Old Dark House (1963)
Creepy Ass Dolls
The list wouldn't be complete without a double feature of M3gan and M3gan 2.0. Such a great movie about a psycho robot doll.
