Great location, 7 minutes by foot from the city center. Restaurant Blue Blood is amazing and they also have a great selection of cocktails at the bar. One minus is that since it is a bit older hotel they do not have smart tv-s in the rooms. Gym is small but well well equipped and they offer discounted entrance to Cesar's Spa which is located right next to the hotel. You can also rent bikes at front office and buy tickets for public transportation.

Perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. They offer rooms with jacuzzi, breakfast is around 10eur per person and it is really good value for money. Hotel has two restaurants one is called Plumb and the other one is Degenija, both have really good food, mostly croatian traditional dishes. In the area you have ziplines, kayaking, deer ranch and horseback riding and you can also rent bikes in the hotel.

Iceland
Hotels are pretty expensive in Iceland so if you are on a tight budget i would suggest renting a camper to do the full circle around the island. For west fjords and some more isolated / remote locations i would suggest checking out Air Bnb or booking.com for some cabins.
