my go to products before i paddle out and surf. Prepping your hair before surf is actually the most important.
Before surfing, wet your hair with fresh water to help reduce how much saltwater it absorbs. If there isn’t a shower nearby, keep a water bottle filled with fresh water in your surf bag!

Cheap, and so so so good for my hair. I coat my hair lightly with this stuff before and sometimes after surfing. SO cheap and easy to rinse out.

Coconut oil is good to coat the hair before surfing. Because it is thick, and doesnt really penetrate well in 4c hair, it creates a barrier. This comes last.
