My lower back was so locked up I couldn't bend over to tie my shoes without wincing. These are the stretchers I rotate through depending on how angry my spine is that day.

Stretching alone wasn't enough. My muscles were so knotted that I needed to break up the tension first. These tools do what my thumbs physically cannot reach.

Once the knots were gone, I realized my hamstrings and hips were pulling my lower back out of alignment. These forced me to actually stretch the right way instead of just winging it.

Stretching without recovery was like working out and never sleeping. Adding heat and compression after my routine cut my soreness in half and made the results actually stick.
