Every structured blazer I owned looked ridiculous over a crew neck. These have enough room through the shoulders and chest to sit flat over a cotton tee without making me look boxy.

I wanted something with a little more shape than a cardigan but less stiff than a traditional suit jacket. These hit that sweet spot where you look polished but not overdressed.

I used to skip blazers entirely from May through September because everything felt like wearing a wool blanket. These are thin enough to wear when it's 80 degrees and the office AC is broken again.

I used to buy blazers in fun colors and then never wear them because they matched exactly one shirt. Learned my lesson. These neutrals pair with every tee I own without thinking.

Not all tees work under a blazer. Thick seams show through, long hems bunch up, and V-necks that are too deep look weird. These are the ones I tested that actually cooperate.

A blazer over a tee can still look incomplete without the right finishing touches. These small additions took my outfits from ‘is he going somewhere?’ to ‘oh, he’s got it figured out.'
