I’m a self-proclaimed foodie and here are some of my favorite restaurants I’ve gone to in LA!
Map
This spot is good for shareable dishes / getting a lot of different things and splitting! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful but the upper patio is stunning!!
Bacari Silverlake
The name is interesting lol but this is a really good Taiwanese spot!
Little Fatty
I know Din Tai Fung is very hyped - but well worth it!!! If you go, please get the chocolate dumplings for dessert with the salted caramel foam (you can thank me later)
Din Tai Fung
I came here for a brand dinner and was pleasantly surprised - super yummy upscale Mexican food!
Mirate
I’m not vegan and I still choose to come here so that should say enough
Gracias Madre
Personally, I’ll always choose a taco stand/truck if I’m wanting Mexican food in LA, but this little restaurant gives the same energy!!! 10/10
Tacos 1986
This is definitely a more expensive choice, but if you’re wanting a nice dinner, this Mediterranean restaurant is SO good
Bavel
This place looks so unassuming from the outside (it’s literally an old hardware store) but the inside is STUNNING and food is 10/10! Really good date spot
Laurel Hardware
The aesthetic of this restaurant is everything I could ever want and more AND the food is actually really good (another great date spot)
Firefly
I’m gluten intolerant and finding Italian restaurants with GOOD gluten free pasta/pizza options is tough but Ugo’s never misses
Ugo
This is great for shareable plates - it’s an Asian fusion restaurant and everything I’ve ever gotten here has been insanely good
Piccalilli
I know LA is known for breakfast burritos and the competition is tough - but this is one of the best I’ve had
Cerveteca Culver City
This is open for all meals, but personally I love it for a breakfast/brunch vibe
The Butcher's Daughter
As a non-vegan, sushi lover, this vegan spot has GREAT sushi
PLANTA
You can never go wrong with a sushi bar and kazunori really is 10/10
