There are a lot of killer bunny films, but which ones actually have something to do with Easter? This list shines a light on this oft overlooked subgenre.
The epic follow-up and perhaps the most infmaous Easter set horror film. Critter eggs are pretty and accidently get used for the town's Easter celebration, with disastrous results. This might be even better than the first.
Critters 2: The Main Course
A bloody thirsty Jackelope terrorizes a Texas town during Easter. If that sentence didn't make you want to watch this, then you probably wouldn't enjoy it.
Easter Bloody Easter
Tragic Easter memories haunt a young man...until he can't take it anymore. This was released by SRS Cinema, a huge name in no budget cinema. If you're into that, you'll enjoy this.
Easter Bunny Bloodbath
This kind of picks up after the first, but it isn't necessary to watch the first one. This slasher is made a little more interesting with the addition of Sasquatch.
Easter Bunny Bloodbath 2: No More Tears
A boys love of Easter is trampled on by his mom's psychotic lover. Could his possible new step dad be the one in the bunny mask taking people out. Vicious Circle delivered a very interesting film here, I don't want to ruin it.
Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!
Something bad happened, and someone knows...this Easter no secret is safe. Think a lower budget British version of I Know What You Did Last Summer where the killer wears a bunny costume.
Easter Bunny Massacre
An unrelated sequel with a connecting theme. This bunny costume-clad slasher entry actually might be a touch better than the first one.
Easter Bunny Massacre: The Bloody Trail
Peter Cottontail takes on the church to try and stop them from canceling Easter practices that have little to do with the resurrection. This one is goofy as hell, but super satisfying.
Easter Casket
This is the only one I couldn't verify. It does have Easter in the title. It is a killer in a bunny suit and the lead's name is Bunny. It's not very good, but Jared Masters is a cool guy.
Easter Evil
A serial killer with an affinity for bunny masks is summoned from beyond the grave. This, of course, doesn't go well and it plays out in an almost 80s like fashion.
Easter Sunday
Easter is closing in, and rehearsals fle the best local Passion play ate underway. Unfortunately everything is going wrong. More comedy than horror, but the thriller angle is there.
Feaster Sunday
This is an anthology of holiday themed horror shorts. The zombie Easter jesus bunny segment is easily the craziest.
Holidays
Group of friends, party in a storage facility, killer bunny. If that last sentence didn't entice you, you probably won't like this.
The Night Before Easter
Christopher Lambert shines in this late 90s serial killer procedural that culminates on Easter sunday. The killer in question is collecting body parts to build a Jesus in time for the resurrection. This is so underrated.
Resurrection
Every Easter, a serial killer stalks Texas looking for those who lack spiritual awareness. This year, they stumbled on Austin's biggest rave. A no budget oddity that has sparked wild and incredibly long series.
