Alpena Civic Theatre
This place has great displays and an amazing staff. The grounds are even so well kept period films have been shot here. This place is worth a stop for the gift shop and planetarium alone.
Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan
This restaurant has one of the most unique menus in town. They also host karaoke, local musicians and the occasional drag show.

This is one of the best local eateries. This is also one of the healtier options in the whole area with Gluten Free and Vegan options.
Hungry Hippie
For film production, I couldn't recommend anyone more, local or otherwise. This company got me my first paid film gig. I can't say enough good.
Irving Entertainment
For local music supplies, there really isn't another option. Luckily, this place usually always has what I need in a pinch and doesn't suck in terms of customer service.
Joel's Guitar Shop
This is the definitive video gaming destination for all of Northeastern lower Michigan. Whether you're looking for a specific title or you're just looking to browse; Gaige is more than accommodating.
K-otic Games
If it has something to do with music, there's a chance you might find it here. Also has an assortment of old board games and collectibles. Steve is awesome!
Noise & Toys
Vintage clothing and collectibles. This is run by a close friend of mine do I might be biased, but I love wandering around this place.
The Nostalgia Factory
A local hard cidery; this place gets major bonus points for political activism and community collaboration. There's always something going on here; Live DJ, Lip Sync Battle, Drag Show, Poetry Open Mic (a big one for me).

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Rogers City. This restaurant makes the best pizza on the planet of Earth.
The Lighthouse Restaurant
Part gallery, part café, this unique store adds a touch of flare to this small town. The owners strive to bring new and innovative items and ideas to the area.
The Painted Lady
A world-renowned butcher/meat counter that is one of my small home town's claims to fame. You will never see a better pork tenderloin than the ones that come out of here. Ever.
Plath's Meats, Inc.
One of the oldest houses in Rogers City also doubles as the local museum. This place is constantly getting new display items and updating its installments. A great way to spend a summer day.
Presque Isle County Historical Museum (The Bradley House)
A gorgeous local small-town historic theater. Plays late run new releases, classic cinema on themed weekends and is also the home to RCCT if you want to catch a live show. I grew up performing and working in this place. It's my second home.
