Most baby accessories last a hot minute, but this one transitions with your baby from newborn to toddler so definitely worth the investment. It's easy to get cheaper ones, but they don't have as much support for the newborn phase.
There's a reason people rave about these. I had a cheaper baby lounge to keep on the couch and the baby just didn't care for it. Although, it's one of those things they do really only use for a short amount of time. I always recommend putting expensive items on your baby registry, and this is one of those.
Doesn't matter if you have 1 or 10 of these. You'll use them all. Babies love them like you a new mum loves sleep.
Everything you need for feeding
I have huge boobs and my back was toast after three days feeding with no pillow. It’s not that aesthetically pleasing but this saved me!
If you've got a baby who vomits you'll probably need two packs!
First few weeks MVP! There's so much going on in those first few weeks. Working out how to pump is just another thing, but if you're feeding you can just pop this on the side you're not feeding and it will automatically collect for you. Which is great if you just need to... Love love love!

One for the baby registry. They're not cheap, but the ability to wipe them down instead of having to wash a material mat is so convenient when you have a million other newborn things to worry about is nice!
The ultimate pram. There's a reason everyone has it. Fits two bbies and has huge storage space underneath for your lazy dog.
Buy this once you have the beb so you can try it on. But it's a handy one when you need both your hands and cbf with a whole pram
Fits into overhead luggage. This is a dream travel pram!
Watching this pram fold into carry on luggage gave me full body chills (What is my life?) But it's amazing.
I love this baby bag. It has plenty of pockets, heaps of space and also comes with a change mat for out and about changes.
My favourite accessories that helped me navigate the Mt Everest that is baby sleep.
Does it work? I don't know but I get good sleep stretches with it on.
Probably my number 1. It's so hard to work out how many layers a baby needs at night! This is such a helpful guide, plus it provides a nice amount of light for middle of the night changes.
It's the wheels that make the difference. Not only can you move your baby to other rooms but you can rock them to sleep.
Every baby sleeps differently, so my advice is not to buy heaps of these before the baby is born! But if you've got a banby who sleeps up arms, these are the aboslute best! Higher the tog, the warmer they are.
You'll be out of newborn sleep suits before you know it! For the arms free stage I absolutely want one that has arms for the winter weather! These are one of my favourites.
Zips zips zips. Don't go overboard on new clothes because babies grow SO QUICK!
Bonds onesies 👌 zip from the bottom so you can change without undressing them completely. Good quality too. They run a bit big but I just find that means they last a bit longer before growing out of them.
Yeah little sets are cute, but with everything else going on with a baby having practical clothes is one less thing to worry about! These are the best!
I always thought these bibs were silly. They're not protecting the clothes from food, but they're not for food! They're for drool and baby vomit! It's nice to have a few coloured ones that match your outfit or onesie, but if you're wearing them everyday, these are great basics!
Don't forget about yourself! Looking after yourself allows you to best look after your new beb!
While you spend half of your days feeding you're going to need something to do. A kindle's a great option so you don't have to turn on a lap when you need blackout for the baby
If you have a vaginal birth this is so great for cleaning afterwards!

I don't sleep in it. I live in it. Whether it's from walking outside or dry hospital air, I always had dry lips!
If you get a new scent for body wash you can use it for your first shower and then associate it with your birth. I didn't do it but I love the idea.
